Technical/Functional Skills
Must Have:
Java based web services
Relational Databases, SQL and ORM
Strong knowledge of JAVA AWS
J2EE framework
Object Oriented Analysis and Design
EJB (Enterprise Java Beans)
JSP / Servlets.
Web Frameworks like Struts / Spring.
Service Oriented Architecture / Web Services – SOAP / REST.
Web Technologies like HTML, CSS, Javascript and JQuery.
Markup Languages like XML and JSON.
Test-Driven Development
Strong understanding of microservice architecture
Ability to design, develop and implement scalable, elasti microservice based platforms
Proficiency in the following general areas: Java (Java 1. 7/Java 1. 8), Spring Framework, Jenkins, Gradle, and Github.
Experience with RESTful services, Rabbit MQ, JSON, Unix Scripting, and Hadoop is a plus.
Core development experience in large scale enterprise Java applications using Spring Framework.
Experience in SQL (DB2 & SQL databases)
Demonstrates strong understanding of the business needs driving the projects.

Design, implement and maintain java application phases
To take part in software and architectural development activities
Conduct software analysis, programming, testing and debugging
Identifying production and non-production application issues
Transforming requirements into stipulations
Develop, test, implement and maintain application software
Recommend changes to improve established java application processes
Develop technical designs for application development
Develop application code for java programs
Designing, implementing, and maintaining Java applications that are often high-volume and low-latency, required for mission-critical systems
Delivering high availability and performance
Contributing in all phases of the development lifecycle
Writing well-designed, efficient, and testable code
Conducting software analysis, programming, testing, and debugging
Managing Java and Java EE application development
Ensuring designs comply with specifications
Preparing and producing releases of software components
