Job Title: Mainframe Systems Analyst
Contract: Length: 12 month plus!!
Location: Des Moines, IA
Hourly Rate: Open (DOE)
Job Description:
This person will be working in a smaller shop, helping 3 different teams out with their various tasks.
-Looking to replace this Systems Analyst role with a candidate who has a variety of mainframe skills including SMPE, DB2 systems, CICS, MQ, z/OS, mainframe storage and excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills.
-COBOL and REXX knowledge would be helpful, but not required.
-Looking for someone with more recent mainframe experience highly preferred, not looking for candidates that had this experience several years ago. -Will be sitting on an Agile team, Agile experience preferred.
-Looking for someone who can work alone, as well as collaborate as part of a team.
-Variety of working involved supporting infrastructures across many mainframe subsystems.
-Looking for a broad range of mainframe experience, DB2 experience highly preferred. Someone that is ready to jump around to 3 different teams with a good understanding and working experience with these products.
-Possibility of on-call work every 5-6 weeks, this is 24/7 on-call for that entire week.
-Looking for an end of June start date if not sooner.
-Needing good experience on the systems side of mainframe and managing infrastructure. In-depth experience with different sub-systems. Ability to jump around and move teams.
