Searching for a talented IBM i software developer to implement and maintain cutting edge REST web services used across the entire company domain. The qualified applicant should have the ability to take high level software designs and user stories, to create detailed software designs based on supplied guard rails. The most successful applicant will have the desire to work in an Agile environment with a desire to collaborate on software design and code.

Positions Day to Day Responsibilities/Project Details (size, scale, scope)
In charge of API layer that interfaces with backend DBI system. All on one giant I-series machine (4th or 5th largest in the world), all billing customer data stored in there. Supports all API middleware softwarae that updates and receives data from backend. All legacy systems used FFM or PCSL messaging, moving toward Rest APIs. Probably have 20 traditional APIs. On Rest, have at least 37
Middleware project to convert AS400 API calls to RPG Web Services

1. SOLID
1. AS400 skills (iSeries)
2. RPG
1. (6 or higher) with REST OR older RPG experience but must have telecom
