Position Title: ETL Developer
Position Type: Contract
Contract Length: 5+ Months
Location: Pittsburgh, PA
Hourly Rate: Open (DOE) C2C.
Mode of Interview: Face to Face. Candidates must be local.
Required Skills: Datastage, ETL, SQL
Primary Responsibilities:
* Gather, analyse, and interpret business requirements for a complex healthcare reporting application
* Design, build and test needed data structures to ensure a high level of data quality and optimal system performance for a web-based data reporting application
* Build new ETL (extract, transform and load) processes and maintain existing ETL tools using Oracle PL / SQL, UNIX, DataStage, or Talend technologies
* Develop technical specifications and design documents
* Collaborate with Business Analysts, Front-end Developers, and Quality Assurance analysts in a fast paced Agile Implementation process on technical design and issues
* Understand the business and how various data elements and subject areas are utilized
Required Qualifications:
* 3+ years of Data warehouse development and design
* Experience with SQL development
* Experience with mid - high volume ETL
* Strong Data Analysis skills
* Experience with formal System Development Lifecycle and Data Quality processes
* Experience with Agile methodologies
Preferred Qualifications:
* 3+ years Oracle PL / SQL
* Healthcare data experience
* Experience with ETL tools such as DataStage, Talend, or Informatica
