Informatica 8x PL/SQL HL7 Architect

Job Description:
The OMH HIE Funding will address the creation of ADT Admit, Discharge, and Demographics Change messages as well as other non-ADT events from the MHARS system in real time to the Healthix RHIO.
Daily Tasks will include but are not limited to the following:
1. Leading the ETL team in the development and monitoring of ETL processes and test plans using Informatica Power Center.
2. Leading the ETL team in shaping, enhancing and recommending best practices to the overall ETL/Informatica architecture
3. Investigating and resolving difficult design and build issues, data loading and data integrity issues.
4. Writing SQL for querying the Informatica Metadata Repository for validating unit and QA testing, monitoring, and for investigating integrity issues.
5. Performance tuning Informatica workflows.
6. Using Informatica to develop ETL mappings and workflows including the use of mapplets, reusable transformations and worklets.
7. Working with large and complex Oracle data warehouses, data marts and OLTP databases.
8. Writing UNIX shell scripts to validate and ftp files and to call workflows.
9. Using Rhapsody to acquire and manage large amounts of data with the HL7 message format
Skill Matrix:
60 Months Demonstrated Experience leading the ETL team in shaping and enhancing the overall ETL architecture using Informatica.
60 Months Demonstrated Experience in Dimensional Data Modeling for creating logical and physical data models using a commercial data modeling tool like ERWIN or ERStudio.

60 Months Demonstrated experience using Informatica 8.x or higher in a data warehouse environment including warehousing concepts, design and development of complex mappings.
