Position: ITSM Project Manager
Location: Portland, OR
Start: ASAP
Duration: 7 + Months
Period of engagement: Through Oct 31 2019

Summary:

The Project Manager role provides critical leadership, planning, and oversight of activities throughout the project life cycle with a focus on quality of the product being delivered. This is accomplished by demonstrating project management expertise, as well as through leveraging professional qualities like strong personal initiative, a collaborative mindset, critical thinking for problem solutioning and solid judgement in order to deliver predictable and high-quality outcomes.

Responsibilities:
Define project scheduling, costing, resourcing
Perform project prioritization review and analysis
Manage project status tracking including budget, milestones, risks, issues, defect tracking, etc.
Communicate and constructively engage with project stakeholders at all levels
Facilitate workshops as needed for preparing team deliverables
Requirements:
Bachelor''s Degree required, preferably in business or management information systems
Project management expertise and PMP certification preferred
8+ years of professional experience, ideally with a minimum of 6+ years of project management experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Project, SharePoint and other Project Management toolsets
Understanding of project implementation methodologies and best practices
Experience in successfully managing projects in the areas of specialization outline above
Capability to work effectively within a PMO and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Nice to Have:
ITIL Certification
ITSM solution implementation experience (Prefers BMC Remedy Migrations)
