8 or more years of experience in the field.
Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, independently performs a variety of complicated tasks, a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
Advise on information security issues related to the systems and workflow at an agency to ensure the internal IT security controls for an agency are appropriate and operating as intended. Coordinate IT security meetings and research for the agency. Develop and publish Information System Security Plans and guidelines based on knowledge of best practices and compliance with IT Security policies, standards, and guidelines.
Develop System Security Plans, and remediation plans, using the Keylight tool. Collaborate with IT management, Internal Audit, to manage security vulnerabilities. Conduct security research and keeps abreast of latest security issues.
This position will require that candidates pass a Michigan State Police background check.
Skills:
· Experience monitoring and advising on information security issues related to the systems and workflow - Required - 8 Years
· Conduct campus-wide data classification assessment and security audits and manage remediation plans. - Required – 8 Years
· Experience developing and publishing Information Security policies, procedures, standards and guidelines based on knowledge of best practices – Required - 8 Years
· Familiarity with Lockpath Keylight or similar Governance, Risk and Compliance software – Required - 1 Years
· Familiarity with security frameworks like NIST -800 rev 3, CJIS, PCI (1 year – Required - 1 Years
· Security Accreditation Expertise – Required - 1 Years
