IT Change Coordinator

Job Summary
The IT Change Coordinator supports one or more of the service transition functions (release, configuration, or change
Management) that manage the implementation of technology changes impacting operations.

Primary Responsibilities

Change Management:
Lead implementation of new and amended systems to ensure quality services are continually maintained and improved
Oversee change requests and the implementation of technical and administrative changes
Assess the impact of and prioritizes changes to the operations environment on the contingency arrangements
Communicate status and schedule changes to all stakeholders and prepare teams for change implementation

Release Management:
Create a consolidated view of the scope and content of all projects, maintenance and enhancements that are planned / in Progress within Service Development
Lead identification and realization of potential efficiency gains from combining related work into Releases
Plan and oversee the successful roll-out of service changes to the production environment

Configuration Management:
Lead effort to provide current information and status for Configuration Items
Produce periodic reports detailing the changes made to the Configuration Items
Update CMDB as necessary
Physical presence in the office/on-site to engage in face-to-face interaction and coordination of work among direct reports and colleagues.
May be assigned an Electric Utilities emergency and storm role. This is a special assignment that comes into play during storms and other emergencies when the company needs to restore power or respond to other issues affecting customer service. This role may necessitate the need to work after-hours, outside of your normal schedule.

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor''s degree and 2 years of related work experience OR 6 years of related work experience
Business awareness of the impact of changes
Understanding of change management tools
Good awareness of commercial commitments and liabilities
Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) with strong presentation and facilitation skills (proficiency in Visio, Word and PowerPoint)
Strong interpersonal skills; customer - centric attitude
Proven team player and team builder
Strong organizational and analytical skills
