iOS Developer

· contract to hire
· 20% remote allowed
· 5-10 years of IT experience required
· 3 years in iOS and Objective-C development required

This position is working on the KP Mobile iOS app – our flagship app – with over 2M downloads. You’d be working on a feature scrum team; Each scrum team is comprised of 2 iOS developers, 2 android developers and 2-3 testers. You’d be working with one of our senior iOS developers. We have 2-week sprints, and release every 2 months.

Top Daily Responsibilities:
· Development to achieve sprint goals.
· Implementing test cases.
· Identify obstacles and informing the Scrum Master.
· Estimate the effort to implement User Stories.

Skills a Top Candidate Should Have:
· Strong Objective-C development and architecture understanding
· Experience creating and consuming CocoaPods
· Strong understanding of git and GitHub
· Swift development understanding

Desired Skills:
· Experience consuming and developing XML and JSON web services
· Test-Driven Development
· Experience handling video in a native iOS app
· Understanding of concurrent programming and which thread a given piece of logic should run on

Soft Skills:
· Experience working on agile teams
· Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think logically
· Strong communication, interpersonal, collaboration and leadership skill
