Job Description :

Candidate must have an experience on below technologies.

Data Domain
Oracle with DD boast
File level backup
NDMP backup

Health check, Installation, Manage, troubleshoot issues with Master and Media servers, Tivoli Spectrum Protect, Netbackup Software v7.6, , VTL, EMC Data Domain.
Configuration of Policies, VTL, DD boost, data domain and Robot
Configure the backup of data to cloud(Microsoft Azure) using Spectrum protect
Plans, schedules and performs proactive maintenance, including hardware and software upgrades
Troubleshooting on all backup failures by analyzing the backup logs
Perform the snapshot method to restore the data for DB refresh
VMware Backup configuration/troubleshooting
SQL backup configuration/troubleshooting
NDMP backup configuration/troubleshooting
Install and troubleshoot Remote Backup Agent on all the required servers
Restore and import
Perform Media management and process tapes for off-site storage by coordinating with Vendors. Tape Management/Maintenance, Tape Ejects, stuck tape removal, cleaning etc
Monitor and restart Data collection thru OpsCenter and fetching weekly, daily and Monthly reports from OpsCenter
Doing Media/Tape Rotation as per the requirement of the infrastructure
Understand the concepts of backup, restore, archive, performance tuning, policy creation & modification
Worked on VMware, DBA, NDMP, file system, DATA domain backups
Handle escalated technical issues related to restores.
Worked on Vcentre to perform snapshot, perform Validation on VMs
Good Knowledge and understanding of Management Tools as well as ServiceNow
