Job Title: HPC Support ( EC Only)
Location: Schenectady NY
Duration of assignment: 1 year

Technical/Functional Skills: HPC Support Executive
Roles & Responsibilities
* Experience in working on HPC clusters and its Components.
* Understanding of basic Network(Ethernet, InfiniBand) and troubleshooting the issue.
* Knowledge of CAE/CFD Application and Integration with Workload manager.
* Able to understand the portal based solution, integration and Troubleshooting the issue.
* Hands on experienced in managing and handling Database like MySQL, postgres and other database
* Strong scripting and programming skills – Shell, Python, Perl, Ruby, R or similar
* Enterprise Linux administration and troubleshooting (RHEL / Cent OS)
* TCP/IP networking with NFS/CIFS/LDAP/NIS
* Experience in HPC hardware troubleshooting (either from Cray, HP OR IBM )
* Experience in monitoring tools - Ganglia, Nagios.
* Experience in installing, configuring and maintaining cluster job scheduler (such as SLURM, PBS Professional, LSF, etc.
* Experience in Parallel File systems (such as, Lustre, GPFS, etc
* Experience in Configuration and deployment tools experience using Ansible/ SaltStack/ Chef/Puppet or similar from DevOps perspective
* Strong understanding and working experience of CI/CD on cloud technologies especially Amazon AWS / Microsoft Azure / Openstack / Vmware
* Hands on expertise in Artificial Intelligence, NLP, Machine Learning, Data science, Deep Learning techniques
* Working experience with Software container management like Dockers, Singularity
* Experience designing and implementing Big Data scalable workflow systems using Big Data Technologies (Kafka, Storm, Spark, HBase, etc
* Experience with source/version control software configuration (Git, Subversion)

* Ability to work independently; lead small teams focused on specific work streams of larger projects
* Strong oral and written communication skills
* Good Analytical skill, Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment
* Eagerness to mentor junior team members
* Proficient use of Power Point presentation tool, and MS office tools. Proven writing skills for mass communication. Ability to document use cases, requirements and relevant technical documentation.
* Demonstrated leadership and team-building skills
* Knowledge of six sigma is added advantage
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or relevant discipline
