Job Description :
As part of "Finance as a Service” initiative, provide Reconciliation as a Service that processes high volume, complex comparisons. On board and automate reconciliations for Firmwide Finance Accounting and Reporting business partners to help close the firm''s finance statements timely and smoothly.
Skills
Big data/Cloud - Apache Spark, Hadoop (Cloudera/Hortonworks), AWS/Gaia
Micro service development – ReactJS, Spring/Moneta boot, Spring Data Flow, Kafka streams and Oracle
One or more OOP – Java, Scala, Python
Knowledge of Agile Framework – scrum



Responsibilities
Build/Enhance interfaces to CT Data Lake and other sources using API. Kafka Streams and/or S3
Build highly performant, scalable Reconciliations engine with configurable rules
Keep monitoring and fault tolerance at the core with ELK (Elastic, Log, Kibana) stats
Build UI for reconciliation on boarding, configuration, break presentation, allocation and management
Support on boarding and maintaining Reconciliation flows partnering with the finance controllers
Opportunities to apply predictive analytics and machine learning for break analysis and resolution
Required Strengths and Capabilities
Minimum of 5-7 plus years of experience
Advanced knowledge of application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines and clean code
Hands on experience and working proficiency in developmental tool sets, CI/CD
Proficiency in one or more programming languages like Java, Scala, Python etc.
Experience in UI development using ReactJS, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript etc.
Experience in TDD, automated testing including unit, integration and acceptance testing
Experience of working on high data volume processing applications (batch and/or real-time)

Nice to have
Knowledge of Spring Data Flow, Data Streams and Batch processing technologies
Experience with distributed caches such as GemFire, ehCache, Hazelcast
Practical knowledge of User Experience (UX) or Design Thinking
Knowledge of Big Data or distributed computing technologies and infrastructure
Experience in Performance/load testing
