Location: Cupertino/Sunnyvale (California, US)

Developer - Web

You will be working in a fast-paced, highly-skilled team environment and will be responsible for producing browser-based software solutions to realize website design and interface concepts. You have a solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and are always looking for the best way to do something.
Berners-Lee, Cederholm, Zeldman, Shea, and Meyers are prophets.

Responsibilities:

* Collaborating with creative and technical team members
* Working closely with application and flash developers as well as database administrators to ensure
technical integration and the meeting of requirements
* Interacting with project teams to understand business and user requirements

* Authoring technical briefs for client approval and project development
* Maintaining high coding standards and practices and exercise quality control on all aspects of web
development
* Breaking new ground, researching and implementing innovative web techniques and features
* Problem-solving in all areas of web development

Required Skills:

* 5+ years demonstrated development experience with hand-coding advanced HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (ES6)
* Experience in working within a team environment
* Substantial experience with client service
* Proficiency with cross-browser/cross-platform issues, DOM and web standards
* Experience working in a Mac/PC environment

* An excellent ability to deal with people at all levels and build trust and confidence with management and employees
* Samples of your previous work are required in your application
* Familiar with OO programming
* Familiarity with source code control systems

Desired Skills:

* Experience with JSP, ASP, PHP, or CFM
* Experience with XML, XSL/XSLT, and DTD or Schema validation
* Familiarity with web-based testing and QA processes
* GUI design experience
* Experience with AJAX would be an asset
* Retail Experience
