Client’s User Experience Design team is looking for a web developer who is passionate about front-end development, has a desire to learn emerging technologies, and wants to be a part of an agile, collaborative team to deliver a best-in-class online customer experience.

The Team
You will be supporting the Health Care Group''s digital employee and employer platforms, which customers and employers use to manage their health and welfare benefits. Our team makes it easier for small and mid-size employers to configure and maintain their health care benefits, and administer payroll and HR, as well as to help their employees enroll in and use health and insurance plans. Customers use our web experience to get information about their benefits, and to make changes when they have major life events. You''ll have the opportunity to give ideas to improve our products as well as develop your skills, learn new technologies and languages, and continue to learn. We''re looking for highly motivated individuals who work well in a collaborative, iterative, and fast-paced environment.

The Expertise You Have
You have 5+ years of web development experience
You have a passion for technology and can navigate your way across complex and rapidly-changing landscapes by staying on top of latest trends and thrive by sharing knowledge.

Are experienced with the tools of the trade including a variety of modern programming languages and frameworks
Have strong communication skills and technical expertise to drive and participate in important discussions.

The Skills You Bring
Advanced JavaScript, Typescript, CSS3, HTML5, object-oriented JS, jQuery, Sass, GIT, and browser developer tools
Intermediate to advanced knowledge of JS MV* frameworks (Backbone, Marionette, Angular, Ember, React, etc
JS tooling (Grunt, Make, Gulp)
Experience coding using modern best practices and accessibility guidelines
Comfortable with visual design and image editing software (e.g., Sketch, Photoshop, etc

The Value You Deliver
Building presentation layer to web-based technical standards using W3C or WHATWG compliance
Working with agile teams to apply defined corporate style guide and accessibility standards
Contributing to our enterprise component library
Working with application development teams throughout the software development lifecycle
Supporting client’s user experience research through usability studies

Special Instructions
New Front-end, Web Developer position with the client. This position will be based in Merrimack, NH and will be working within our Healthcare Group working specifically with our UX Design group to build out prototypes.
We need someone who has good communication, understands design and is familiar with tools like HTML5, CSS3, Typescript, Angular, and is comfortable working with Sketch.
