Front End Developer
King of Prussia PA
6 months contract to hire
Face2Face Interview Required
5+ years web application development experience
3+ years of working experience with Rails or another front-end framework such as Angular, Vue or similar
Support the maintenance and enhancement of business-critical web-based applications in production.
Develop functional and appealing web- and mobile-based applications based on usability
Provide website maintenance and enhancements
Create quality mockups and prototypes on tight timelines
Assist back-end developers with coding and troubleshooting
Create cascading style sheets (CSS) that are consistent across all browsers and platforms using SASS
Maintain graphic standards and branding throughout the product’s interface
Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies
Promote usability best practices
Support the analysis of business requirements, design specifications, development, and technical and user documentation of report development through direct interaction with internal customers
Communicates status issues and changes to appropriate audience
Support the research, recommendation and innovation of new web & digital development technologies
Solid understanding of front-end technologies (JavaScript/JQuery, HTML5/CSS3, bootstrap) and modern frameworks
Strong analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills; attention to detail; and ability to coordinate multiple tasks, set priorities, and meet deadlines
Self-motivation, ability to work effectively as a member of a team or independently as the particular assignment requires
Other Skills
Experience of HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, jQuery, OOP, Bootstrap 3 or higher, JavaScript ES6.
Experience with SQL, Git, and working with APIs
Experience with MiniTest/RSpec, Jasmine or other testing tool
Experience using a continuous integration/continuous deployment process.
Computer science degree
Strong OOP background (SOLID / DRY)
Write clean, maintainable and efficient code
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong experience in troubleshooting in a production environment
