Responsibilities:
Create and test responsive UI controls using jQuery/Native JavaScript/SASS/CSS
Deliver responsive and accessible screens/apps
Fixing accessibility bugs and building accessible screens/apps
Develop and unit test responsive high-traffic web apps adhering to accessibility standards
Review other developer’s code within a code review process
Perform work effectively in an agile environment and handle multiple dev tasks and demands simultaneously
Manage deliverables and deadlines. Ensure ETAs are met on/before time
Participate in scrum and team meetings and should be able to work independently in a time critical environment and as part of a team on special and ongoing projects.
Should have excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as strong analytical, presentation and reporting skills
Must be flexible to quickly adapt to changing business needs and processes
Required Qualifications:
Front end technology stack - HTML5, XML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, SASS, JSONP
Has experience working with MVC backend, especially ASP.Net.
Extensive experience developing for accessibility
Working knowledge of the WCAG and requirements to get a web page to an A or AA level of compliance with the WCAG 2.0
Experience with fixing accessibility bugs and building accessible web pages
Proficient using a distributed version control system (DVCS) such as Git, GitHub
Effective communication skills, attention to detail and a team player
