Participate in gathering Business Requirements and designed the project.
Prepare Test Cases for the mappings developed through the ETL tool DataStage or BizTalk and executed those Test Cases.
Participate in design reviews, Involved in making recommendations where appropriate.
Participate in development and validation of entrance and exit criteria for each phase of testing of applications.
Write complex SQL queries and query the database to test Datastage ETL code
Test entirely new application and successfully met the production date despite of time limit.
Responsible for developing test plans and test cases using standards defined by the project.
Perform backend testing using SQL queries and various other tests such as user acceptance, integration, system and regression testing on the new build of the application.
Prepare Test data at design phase for both positive and negative scenarios and tested the boundaries for database limitations.
Execute sessions and batches in DataStage and tracked the log file for failed sessions.
Used JIRA for defect tracking and reporting, updating the bug status and discussed with developers to resolve the bugs.
Used DataStage to develop processes for extracting, cleansing, transforming, integrating, and loading data into data warehouse database.
Work closely with clients and gave presentation on every operational release Tickets.
Created test case scenarios, executed test cases and maintained defects in internal bug tracking systems Written a Test Plan for an entirely new Project.
