Job Title: ETL Developer
Contract: Length: 5 months contract
Location: Horsham, PA
Hourly Rate: Open (DOE)
Responsibilities:
Strong experience in design, development, implementation, administration troubleshooting and support of ETL process
using Informatica
Tuned performance of Informatica sessions for large data files by increasing block size, data cache size, sequence buffer
length and target based commit interval
Motivated to take independent responsibilities
Experience in designing, developing and implementing extraction, transformation and load techniques on multiple database
platforms and operating system environments
Involved in design, development and maintenance of database for data warehouses projects
Experience:
7+ years IT experience
5+ years direct experience utilizing Informatica PowerCenter
Strong experience and passion for Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing design principles and industry best
practices
Experience with many of the transformations of Informatica including complex lookups, stored procedures, update strategy,
mapplets, etc.
Skilled in developing Informatica objects - mappings, sessions, and workflows based on design documents
Experience in debugging mappings and identifying errors and error rows so that they can be corrected and re-loaded into a
target system
Performance tuning of Informatica Mappings, processes, and load routines. * Logical and Physical data modeling
Strong Experience with at least one database architectures such as Teradata, Oracle, or SQL Server
Must be an analytical thinker who can translate business rules for information / data content needs into ETL Jobs
Experience in designing and working with complex data models * Strong general SQL knowledge and experience for
utilization in query optimization, tuning, and data validation * *
