The technical lead will be responsible for the technical production of software on a day-to-day basis. This will include mentoring and leading the individuals on the team (20%), defining and maintaining the development pipeline (15%), coordinating devops (20%), and software development (45%
A typical day for the lead can include pair programming with one or more of the developers, ensuring that there is at least one working and integrated version of the application, leading a code review, answering difficult technical questions, coordinating the technical workload, creating high-level code documentation, working with devops to modify a container image, or implement a software pattern.
The lead should be inquisitive. They should be able to negotiate, resolve, and manage any immediate issues that the developers might have. The lead is the senior technical expert for software development with deep experience in all phases including software analysis, software design, dual-mode SDLC, software coding best practices, test-driven development, integration testing, and domain-driven design.
Requirements
· 10 years of coding experience in a team-based environment
· .NET Core, Javascript ES5/ES6, Typescript, and Angular
· GIT, TFS, and TeamCity
· Scrum-based agile experience
