The ideal candidates will possess the following:
Must Have Skills:
Experience in large scale Web applications.
Linux systems experience
Minimum of 3 yrs DevOps experience
Solid programming skills (Java OR Python are strong +''s)
Database experience (any NoSQL a +)
Understanding of Networking (load balancers, packet tracers, etc)
Knowledge of standard tools like Nagios, Sensu, Jenkins etc.
Preferred Qualifications:
Any Elastic Search, Cassandra and/or MySQL is a +
Ansible is a + (Puppet/Chef/Salt are fine though)
Messahing systems like Kafka, rabbitmq
Docker, Jenkins, Sensu exp are all preferred but not required
Minimum Qualifications:
3+ years of Linux experience including experience with shell scripting, networking, storage and release management
Large-volume consumer web infrastructure and security experience
2+ years’ experience building and managing a continuous integration environment using GIT, Jenkins and Nexus
Must have the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Strong communication skills to interact with Agile team members
