Position Title: DevOps Consultant
Location: Columbus, OH
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 6 to 12 months contract
Job Description:
Experience with AWS, Bamboo, BitBucket, Jira, Confluence is a must.
Experience with seamless/automation build scripts used for release management across all environments
Hands-on experience in deployment automation using Shell/Python Scripting with concentration on DevOps and CI/CD tools such as Bamboo integrating with build tools like Maven, Ant and Gradle.
Strong experience of working with GitHub, SVN, BitBucket SCM tools
Proficient in ShellScripting and Performance Tuning of UNIX systems.
Strong R&D skills
UI test automation experience with Selenium like tools and integration experience with CI\CD toolstack.
Experience with Chef in production environments with many nodes
Experience with Docker is a must
Strong scripting skills in one or more scripting languages (Powershell, Python, Bash, Ruby, Perl, etc- )
Mentor and assist other team members in automation standards
DevOps development for Integrated Software Platform involving build process automation, Deployments and automation and integration
Able to implement Live Updates using (Blue-Green) method.
Good communication skills, and be able to explain complex IT problems in simple business like terminology for ease of user's understanding
In-depth AWS experience in an added advantage AWS including EC2, VPC (NAT, VPC Peering and VPN), Identity and Access Manager (IAM), EC2 Container Service, Elastic Beanstalk, Lambda, S3, Cloud Front, Glacier, RDS, DynamoDB, ElastiCache, Redshift, Direct Connect, Route 53, CloudWatch, CloudFormation, CloudTrail, OpsWorks, Amazon Elastic MapReduce(EMR), AWS IoT, SNS, API Gateway, SES, SQS,SWF, WorkDocs WorkSpaces.
