Job Description :
Database Developer –(SQL Server and .Net Developer) NY - FTE with client - awesome benefits

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Developing and maintaining new and existing applications, systems, custom reports, and database structure
Designing code and performance tune Oracle Database
Developing and designing database schema, SQL queries and tuning, and stored procedures
Estimating effort involved in completing various development tasks
Assisting and support other programmers in development procedures, techniques and coding assignments
Creating and updating System documentation and Design specifications
Researching and recommending new and existing technologies to meet business needs, including creating prototypes, design documents, and solution designs

Must have:
3-5 years of professional experience in designing/developing software applications
Experience in Oracle Database development and data modeling techniques
Experience in full System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) with knowledge of Agile and /or Waterfall methodology
Good knowledge of Object Oriented design
Minimum 3 years working experience in Microsoft SQL Server, SQL Server Reporting Services, JavaScript & JQuery, XML.
Minimum 3 years of experience in working with Microsoft .NET technologies (C#, F#, )
Experience in developing/deploying web applications
Knowledge of system security and service oriented architecture
Ability to work with business analysts and business users
Candidate must have excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills

Nice to have:
Working knowledge in Java programming
Working knowledge in Microsoft SharePoint
Education and/or Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or a related discipline.
