Job Description :
Position Title: Database Administrator
Duration: LONG TERM
Location: Chicago, IL.

Dynamic Interactive Business Systems Inc is looking Database Administrator for its Direct Client in Chicago, IL.

Responsibilities:

Design, implement, maintain, tune and repair enterprise data exchanges and data repositories, including creating Data Exchanges, Mapping ERP, Best of Breed, and Legacy data stores to the NIEM Federated Data Model;
Mapping Physical Database fields to the Exchanges; identifying and migrating legacy data; coordinating Data Transformation, and creating and executing a Legacy Data Archival Plan.
Must have significant experience and expertise in optimizing the performance of multiple and potentially diverse databases utilized by software systems and applications.

Requirements:

BS degree in a computer discipline or relevant certification
Database administration in a virtual environment
Cloud experience and experience AWS data offerings is a plus.
7+ years of MySQL and SQL Server DBA skills
Experience monitoring systems to ensure uptime and identify issues proactively
Excellent communication skills. This position interface with development, QA, other DBAs, and operational staff. Must be able to understand requirements and communicate solutions that help meet the goals of projects or issues
