Position: Data Warehouse Analyst
Location: Trenton, NJ
Duration: 6 Months

Evaluates existing systems and/or user needs to analyze, design, recommend, and implement information system changes. Experience developing and maintaining ongoing customer required reporting in various BI tools (WebFocus/Tableau) is needed.
RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE: 5 to 8 years
PREFERRED EDUCATION: 4 year college degree or equivalent technical study or advanced degree
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in a data warehouse environment facilitating requirements gathering session, documenting requirements, analyzing and evaluating possible solutions to meet requirements.

- Work to align data set attributes/fields across different systems to ensure common connection points are in place when connecting, and blending data sets.

- Present discoveries and insights to line of business teams, relating them to specific programs and initiatives

- Understanding of statistical principles, and able to apply them in data analytics
- Work with technical teams to identify data sources and provide requirements for reporting to support dashboard development.
- Develop records management processes and policies
- Identify areas to increase efficiency and automation of processes
- Set up and maintain automated data processes
- Identify, evaluate and implement external services and tools to support data validation and cleansing.
- Document current contents of data warehouse including plain-English descriptions and mapping back to data entry screens.
- Prepare requirements for new data warehouse table/structure, including summary information optimized for reporting.
