Total Experience Required
10+ years of total IT experience with 3+ years of ML experience
Mandatory Technical/Functional Skills
Strong problem solving and anlaytical skills
Experience using statistical computer languages (R, Python) to manipulate data and draw insights from large data
sets
Knowledge of a variety of machine learning techniques (clustering, decision tree learning, artificial neural networks,
etc and their real-world advantages/drawbacks
Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and concepts (regression, properties of distributions, statistical tests
etc and experience with applications
Proficiency and understanding of Machine Learning algorithms in both Supervised (Regression/LASSO, SVM,
Neural Networks, etc) and Unsupervised (Association, Clustering, etc
Thorough knowledge of Deep Learning & Neural Networks techniques, RNNs/CNNs/LSTMs and their applicability
with experience working on Cloud (GCP, Azure based analytics platforms
Excellent pattern recognition and predictive modeling skills
Experience in understanding of business process re-engineering and business modeling concepts, business
systems development and analysis
Experience with data wrangling, data cleaning and dimensionality reduction
Experience visualizing/presenting data for stakeholders
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordinating across teams
Technical team management experience including offshore team members
Desirable Technical/Functional Skills
Working with various stakeholders including Business, Source SME, Support teams
A drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques
Experience in developing solutions with Amazon Web Services is desireable
Strong business acumen; Retail domain experience is a plus
