Job Title: Data Scientist

Scope of Work:
We are looking for a Data scientist to lead and drive implementation of Analytics in various functional domains - operational, security and application.
Responsibilities include:
Integrating and preparing large and varied data sets from multiple complex relational databases and other unstructured data sources to turn data into critical information and knowledge in various functional domains – operational, security and application
Creating models to discover insights and opportunities using statistical, algorithmic, mining, and visualization techniques.
Supporting and collaborating with key partners inside the organization on special projects, including developing models and evaluating new algorithms/technologies
Developing and maintaining continuous analytics to report on risks, exposures and internal controls across various areas of the organization
Mentoring the staff with this engineering paradigm
Lead outreach to colleges and academia to meet students, interns and oversee their machine learning activities and help track them to our client
Build machine learning infrastructure at client to support various innovation proof of concepts to validate business ideas and demonstrate the outcomes to various business sponsors.
Skills/Requirements: at least 10 years plus
-Experience in various Data science disciplines such as - Natural Language Processing, Machine learning, Conceptual modelling, Statistics Analysis, Prediciate Modelling, Hypothesis testing and various associated technologies Expert
-Able to program, preferably in different programming languages such as Python, R, Java, Ruby, Clojure, Matlab, Pig or SQL. Need to have an understanding of Hadoop, Hive and/or MapReduce and related big data and no-sql database technologies. Expert
-Strong written and verbal communication skills; Expert
-Being able to advice senior management in clear language about the implications of their work for the organization; Expert
