The role is a combination of customer facing and Data Architecture / Modeling skills. Customer facing skills include working closely with customers to
- Independently drive the scope and requirements with minimal guidance
- understand, prototype, analyze and validate requirements
- gain business knowledge, understand data flow, business process/ rules and
data usage
- impart user education and recommend solutions
- undertake and perform activities that advance overall customer satisfaction
Data Architecture / Modeling skills will include overall design and delivery of Intuitive, quality and efficient Data Warehouse and Data Mart solutions, which
Meet business partner needs and align with strategic direction.
The overall goal for this role is to take ownership and accountability for understanding the various data sets and relations, existing landscape, challenges/gaps with Analytical needs, creating data models in an incremental value add and agile manner, and helping drive sustainability built around a framework for Data Governance, Quality and on-going user education.

Primary Technical Skills:
8+ Years of Hands-on Core Experience in BI, MDM, DW, Reporting & Analytics Domain and Technologies of which 5+ Years’ Experience is in a Data Architect / Modeler role.
5+ Years’ Experience with various Data Modelling tools such as Erwin, Power Designer, and Embarcadero.
Requires strong SQL Skills and 5+ Years of Solid Experience with Oracle / Sql Server / Teradata.
Good Experience in ETL Design And development using various ETL tools such as Informatica, BODS, Talend using External Flat File Sources, FTP Process, DOS/ Shell Batch scripting.
Experienced with Job Scheduling Tools, Understanding Job Dependencies, Data Refresh and Job Optimization Techniques
