Job Title: Data Architect
Location: Danbury, CT
Duration: Contract

Job Description:

Analyze (data profiling) the current legacy data for the master data domains
Design initial Master data domain seed values and ongoing updates to support the strategic initiatives.
Establish naming conventions and data conformance.
Design & Implement the Logical and Physical model for MongoDB
Analyze data-related system integration challenges and provide back pointers so that the legacy data can be properly aligned in the data warehouse.
Work with DBA’s on optimal physical data design as it pertains to performance.
Design the data granularity so that desired analysis metrics can be supported downstream.
Data analysis and supporting data models will be created iteratively as subject areas are developed supporting AGILE/SCRUM methodology.
Design and tune the physical model for transactional query performance based on data usage patterns.
Design & Implement the Logical and Physical Model Dimensional data model for Redshift/Snowflake
Design standard “Key Performance Indicator’s (KPI) that is consistent and demonstrates how Cartus is achieving key business objectives.
Data model will need to support (Standard reports, Business Intelligence Adhoc and Analytical)
Data analysis and supporting data models will be created iteratively as subject areas are developed supporting AGILE/SCRUM methodology.
As per the data model; document the methods, dangers, limits, and appropriateness at each level of data from transactional through the data lake to the data warehouse.

Document the legacy data that will be retained and supported including the Data Quality & Integration points
Divergences in the BIM for the strategic initiatives specifically around master data and KPI measurements
