DEVOPS ENGINEER – Experience working in .Net applications Environment

Length: 12+ months - Possible extension

Location: Round Rock / Austin, Texas

Look for an experienced DevOps Engineer with strong focus in Microsoft Stack technologies, C#, .NET, Visual Studio. Role is focused on facilitating delivery / not writing the code. Please look for candidates who have experience with Microsoft technologies stacks, continuous integration and delivery with GITLAB, PCF, TeamCity, Octopus and SonarQube applications.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain CI/CD development pipelines in support of a large enterprise software teams
Collaborate across organizations to design/develop and implement shared best practice for software delivery.
Support code promotion and release activities and design/improve methodologies.
Teach agile teams to incorporate operations best practice into their development activities.

Required Skills:
Extensive experience working in Enterprise software operations with some development knowledge/experience of .Net applications.
Strong working knowledge of DevOps tools, especially for .NET Core Applications, and technologies including GITLAB, PCF, TeamCity, Octopus, SonarQube.
Some development knowledge of .NET application development of enterprise web applications, C# JavaScript.
Experience with distributed systems, messaging technologies and cloud based systems including microservice and SOA-based architecture.
Experience and knowledge of working in an Agile/Scrum, TDD, XP driven project
