Job title: DATA ANALYST II
Location: Detroit, MI
Duration: 6-12 months
As a Data Analyst II you will be responsible for
? Data analysis: understand datasets, create reports, dashboards and pull data extracts for internal & external stakeholders
? Data analysis: Strong excel skills (Pivot analysis, VBA scripting, Lookup)
? Dashboards & Visualization: Create graphs and charts using popular tools like Tableau, Excel etc
? Dashboards & Visualization: Ability to summarize key findings using excel reports and slides
? Data extraction: Strong SQL skills
? Big Data extraction: Utilizing various tools to extract data, e.g ability to extract data from HDFS to R for data analysis
? Strategic thinking that connects data flows with big picture business results
? Assisting in supporting the flow of accurate data sets to various tools that enable stakeholders to access information
? Analyzing data to forecast potential trends ? Assist in developing and creating graphs and charts for presentations that are both internal and external facing
Experience you have….
? Bachelor’s degree or proven experience in information technology or other related fields
? Demonstrated curiosity and drive for identifying the most efficient and accurate reporting solutions.
? 4 -5 years of experience in data manipulation and analysis
? Ability to complete and validate ad-hoc data requests as needed
? Understanding of current product trends and technology innovations
? Ability to learn and write SQL code using multiple tools ?
Organized, detail-oriented and able to multitask
? Presenting data and technical findings to non-technical users
