Job Description:
The web project utilizes platforms and application servers that lie outside the core competencies of the Web Server Operations group. Due to the aggressive timeframes for the Web Properties development, we need resources to assist with architectural design and deployment and to jump start staff development. This individual will be responsible for installation, configuration, and management of the Server software components (other than database) that are a part of the solution.
Day to day operations of Enterprise Reporting platform including but not limited to IBM Cognos, Microsoft SSRS, Microsoft Power BI and Tableau in all environments (Development, QA, Staging/UA testing, and Production
Enterprise BI/Reporting Platform Administrator supports multiple enterprise level Applications and projects.
Fulfill user request to deploy reporting and BI artifacts to various environments.
Troubleshoot reporting artifacts deployments and performance requirements.
Setup and maintain Enterprise Reporting platform security as per the enterprise security policies and user requirements.
Work with vendors to resolve the issues beyond local team expertise.
Able to take the initiative and assist team in developing better processes and implement best practices.
Provides 365/24/7 Production support to all enterprise BI and Reporting environments.
Develop and Maintain the Documentation of the system and artifacts.
Work with Infrastructure team for Network provisioning and troubleshooting, backup/restore, application identity management, server security, and monthly maintenance.
Participates and conducts Server/System architecture and Design for all BI and Reporting platforms.

1. 84+ Months of Experience in Planning, designing and installation of all BI servers, Microsoft system center, windows clustering and administration. #of months 10
2. 84+Months of Experience in Troubleshooting, patching, and maintenance of servers. #of months 10
3. 84+Months of Experience in Performance tuning, using built in OS functions and external/3rd party tools like R shiny, Telerik, Octopus, Team Foundation Server, Cognos, Power BI and Tableau Server. #of months 10
4. 84+Months of Experience in Installing and configuring IIS and third-party software packages including Microsoft IIS 7, 7.5 and 8.0 #of months 5
5. 84+ Months of experience and expertise in Failover and High Availability for web servers and web-based applications #of months 5
6. 84+Months of experience in Administer, configure, and troubleshoot third-party tools (Cognos, Tableau, SSRS, Power BI #of months 10
7. 84+Months of experience in hands on experience on performance tuning and load balancing. #of months 10
8. 84+Months of experience in providing integration support services for web servers and web-based applications #of months 5
9. Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university #of months 5
10. Cognos 10x Administration Certification and Tableau Certification #of months 10
