Required Skills:
At least 84 months experience working directly with COBOL 74 and/or 85 programming on Unisys 2200 series or ClearPath mainframe, including monitoring production work, error diagnostics/debugging, system analysis and design, program, unit and integrated testing.
At least 36 months in coordinating project activities among other team members, users, and/or requestors
At least 36 months managing application systems development.
At least 36 months performing real-time transaction programming using structured programming techniques, including system analysis and design, code walk-throughs and integrated testing
At least 24 months developing Oracle (SQL) stored procedures.

Project: Client Notice System

Department: Information Technology Services (ITS)

Description: The Client Notice System (CNS) is an enhancement of the Welfare Management System (WMS CNS automatically generates a timely and adequate notice that describes the changes which occurs to a client case, the impact on client benefits, applicable Federal or State legal citations and approved reason for the action. Districts also use CNS to notify clients that cases require recertification, schedule appointments and provide the forms needed to recertify a case. Without CNS, districts would be forced to generate these notices manually. District manual noticing would lead to inconsistent delivery of services; inaccuracies; increased number of court action; and errors in benefit payments.

Responsibilities:
Provide general system design, application programming, documentation, coordination of changes, knowledge transfer and mentoring, unit and integration testing of programs comprising OTDA''s Client Notice System.
Tasks include analysis and programming unit routines or functional routines that make up the batch, the historical, and the notice compilation modules of the system.
Programming will utilize structured COBOL, Network Codasyl data base concepts and runtime control language.
Coordinate project activities among other team members, users, and/or requestors.
