Job Title: Cloud Security Engineer

Location: Hoboken, NJ

Duration- 12+ Month (Long Term)



Job Description

Design and implement Cloud security controls to protect key Infrastructure for multiple cloud platforms including Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform.



Key Role & Responsibility:

Implement AWS/Azure/GCP security strategy for adoption, migration and hybrid operations
Implement a tool driven and highly automated approach to deliver our key security management processes by leveraging existing security investments and/or identify new tooling.
Implement and configure best of breed security tools for our Cloud ecosystems, including everything from Anti-Malware, Encryption, Proxy, NGFW and WAF to cloud specific tool sets like container and serverless security.
Work with teams across the company to embed modern automation and orchestration techniques; utilizing DevSecOps concepts to deliver highly secure, resilient, scalable and efficient solutions.
Research new and emerging Cloud and Cybersecurity solutions to solve client challenges.



Essential skills, knowledge & experience:

5+ year experience securing cloud software, platforms and/or infrastructure as an architect or engineer
Azure/AWS Architecture experience with the appropriate vendor certification
Any recognized IT security (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CCSP…) and/or Cloud Security-related certifications (e.g., AWS, Google, Azure, etc
Experience with one or more general purpose programming languages including but not limited to: AWS CLI, Bash, Java, C/C++, C#, Objective C, Python, JavaScript
Knowledge of technology and security topics including network and application security, infrastructure hardening, security baselines, web server, and database security
Understanding of networking and core Internet Protocols such as TCP/IP
Experience in automation/configuration management using Puppet, Chef, Ansible, Saltstack, Bosh, Terraform Kubernetes, Mesos swarm or equivalent.



Desired Characteristics:

Solid understanding of Amazon Web Services (AWS) including VPC, ELB, IAM, KMS, EC2, Config, CloudTrail, CloudFormation, Lambda, and other AWS tools
Knowledge of network based, system level, and application layer attacks and mitigation methods
