Cloud Architect
Minneapolis, MN.
10+ yrs. of experience in Architecture and design of cloud based
solutions
Hands on experience in software architecture and development using
C# & Java or similar language
Strong experience in applications development on cloud agnostic
platform
Strong understanding of Microservices architecture and
container-based infrastructure.
Design AWS,Azure and GCP network architecture including VPN
connectivity between regions and subnets
Provide As-IS and cloud readiness assessment
Defining Scripts (IAC) for cloud migration, Server Less
Architecture set up, Adjust infra architecture based on changes [inflight
projects, Horizontal Scaling etc.]
Define DR Strategy.
Liaison with Global IT and Apps team on Infra build out
Should have strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience
with the following
-Spring projects including Framework, Boot, Cloud, Batch etc.
-Service-oriented architectures (Java or .NET)
-RESTful service implementations
-DevOps principles including CI/CD
-NoSQL databases like MongoDB/Cassandra
4 to 12 years of hands on experience in DevOps Architecture and
consulting
Proficiency in Technologies such as Docker , Puppet, Chef,
Jenkins, Ansible or similar skills beyond regular / basic coding knowledge
Hands on in design/implementation, migration / development
application.
Successful technical consulting and architecture engagements with
large-scale customers or enterprises
Domain experience in Medical devices is an added advantage
Experience in developing solutions across technologies like -
Content Management, Mobile, Enterprise Business Integration, API management
Should possess Business communication and leadership skills
Added advantage to have micro services or similar platform
architecture based application design
Functional knowledge on Azure DevOps, confluence, Bitbucket and
Sonarqube
Responsibilities:
- Monitoring the production environments by performing regular
monitoring of alerts
- Working on BAU activities including system monitoring, verifying
the integrity and availability of all services, reviewing system and
application logs
- Administration and implementing of CI tools , Supported the code
builds by integrating with tools
- Source code management by pushing, pulling, creating
repositories, commit and repository polling through CI tool Azure DevOps
