Scope of Work:
In this role, the candidate will be responsible for validation of embedded controls. The candidate must be able to work with team of engineers and technicians under general guidance from the lead engineer(s
Off-board (Terrain Office, Mine Star Fleet) and On-machine software and hardware testing on new, current production, legacy, and competitive Rotary Drills products, at the Denison Test Track in support of validation of the following Technology Building Blocks (Software check-out and HPQC defect/ myNPI issue resolution):
Terrain for Drilling Legacy and Next Gen Production and Guidance.
Tablet based Semi-Autonomous Drilling System.
Line of Sight Remote Control Console.
Non Line of Sight Remote Operator Station.
Entering and updating myNPI issues and HPQC defects based on on-machine software and hardware testing.
Support Field-deployment during Field Trial/ Field-follow phases of the same Technology Building Blocks on MD6200, MD6250 and MD6310 Drills.
Support live Customer Demonstration of the same Technology Building Blocks on MD6200, MD6250 and MD6310 drills.
Maintain the Technology Infrastructure at the Denison Test Track: Base Station, Wi-Fi Network, Physical and Virtual Terrain Office and Servers.
Off-board (Terrain Office, Mine Star Fleet) and On-machine software and hardware testing of Proto-type Technology Products on Rotary Drills in support of NTI Projects: Object Detection, Advanced Personnel Detection and site Awareness, Advanced Electric Cable Management.

Skills:

Required Skills:
Bachelor''s degree in Computer, Electrical or Mechanical engineering
Experience in integration and testing of machine sub systems
Experience in developing test cases from functional specification
Knowledge in CAN, J1939 and TCP/IP
Experience in debugging field logs, diagnostic information and data.
Ability to travel ( +25%)
