Sr. Cognos Developer
Job Function: The ideal resource will have 8+ years of industry experience, with focus on Cognos 10.2 enterprise-wide Business Intelligence tools - Framework Manager, Reports Studio, Workspace Advanced, Analysis Studio and exceptional SQL querying skills.
Job Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
2. Nine (9) years of experience in the IT environment
3. Experience authoring and maintaining reports using the IBM Cognos Business Intelligence 10.0 suite of tools or higher against relational, dimensional, and transactional databases
4. Experience using IBM Cognos Framework Manager 10 or higher using Cognos best practices to model and create reporting package against IBM DB2 databases
5. Expertise in working as a Cognos Admin which involves installing, configuring and maintaining Cognos applications on Linux platform
6. Experience writing complex SQL queries, SQL PL procedures in IBM DB2 environment
7. Experience with Healthcare Industry is a must
8. Experience with ETL tools preferably DataStage
9. Ability to translate business requirements into specifications that will be used to implement required reports and dashboards
