Works from high level requirements through detailed specifications, prototype, software deployment, test and administration of mainframe applications. May also participate in upgrading or enhancing existing applications. Must have a solid history of application development, support, modifications, enhancements and troubleshooting. Experienced with mainframe technologies including but not limited to COBOL, MVS, CICS, and JCL.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor''s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent work experience
2. Minimum 5 years Cobol, MVS/JCL, TSO, CICS experience
3. Experience with Sort Utility software (i.e. DFSORT, SYNCSORT)
4. DB2 experience
5. Experience with Scheduling, File Manager, File Transfer and Debug software
6. Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills
7. Keen attention to detail with focus on quality
8 Strong collaboration and communication skills
Additional Desired Experience:
1. MQ Series
2. Experience working with Fiserv’s ARP or ACH PEP+ products would be a value add
3. Experience working in an Agile environment
4. Experience in banking/financial services industry
