Job Description :
7 - 10 years of experience in Citrix infrastructure administration.
Hands on expertise troubleshooting Citrix XenApp 6.5 & 7.8 environment along with XenDesktop VDI infrastructure & Edgesight 5.x
Managing large scale Citrix environments and troubleshooting with Microsoft Server 2003, 2008, 2008R2, 2012 or mix of any of the three.
In depth knowledge of Active Directory, VMWare and VDI.
Application Virtualization experience (App-V, or Citrix App Streaming)
Experience in troubleshooting application issues in virtualized environment.
Knowledge with customization and packaging of applications for Citrix is an added advantage
Well versed with ITIL standards and processes. Should be able to identify the Value innovations opportunities.
Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Request Management.
Collaboration with the team in implementing new technology initiatives, standards major changes or upgrades to production environments
Should be able to manage escalations, should be able to escalate at required situations
Flexibility and willingness to work in shifts in close co- ordination with onsite and offshore team, as well as with end users across the globe in a multi- vendor / service provider environment
Self-Motivated and self-starter to learn new technology.
Good Communication, Documentation, Presentation and interpersonal skills.
Citrix Certification (CCA for XenApp) is an added advantage.
Provide architectural guidance in a AppSense heavy environment
AppSense administration and configuration management for Environment Manager, Application Manager and Performance Manager
Experience in performing large citrix desktop deployments which include baseline changes in EM/AM/PM.
Ability to utilize Appsense AM rules analyzer to troubleshoot potential issue.
Knowledge & Ability to implement appsense best practices for a better user experience.
