Dynamic Interactive Business Systems Inc. is looking for a SAP FICO Business Analyst for its direct Client in Springfield, IL.

Requirements (All Mandatory):

- Minimum of Three (3) years of experience implementing SAP financial and cost accounting modules.
- Minimum of Two (2) years’ experience with SAP ERP implementations at federal, state, or local government entities.
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in IT or Finance related field.
- Advanced level technical skills in Microsoft Excel, SQL and SAP business object web intelligence software; and knowledge of data warehouse structure and HANA views for developing SAP queries and reports.
- 1 year of experience with state government accounting systems, processes, methods and procedures.

Job Responsibilities:

- BAs shall conduct an analysis of the migration to the SAP solution of the HFS accounting system, the Programmatic and Administrative Accounting System (PAAS) and related subsystems.

- The BAs will work with the HFS team members on General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Asset Management (AM), Procurement (PR), Project Systems (PS), Funds Management (FM), Controlling (CO), Supplier Resource Management (SRM) and Public Sector Collections and Disbursements (PSCD) modules emphasizing knowledge transfer regarding functionality of the SAP system and procedures.

- The BAs will review SAP design documents and identify functional and technical gaps in the prior design activities, support development of programming logic to convert legacy data into SAP, assist in the development of extracts for data cleansing for interfaced systems, and support the design of interfaces and reports.

- The BAs will work with HFS personnel to develop SAP user procedures, training materials, review policies and accounting procedures and process and prepare end user documentation for SAP modules.

- The BAs will work with the state-wide ERP SAP team and the Client to identify problems with SAP programs and offer technical solutions, and facilitate project rollout and implementation.

- The BAs will coordinate with HFS staff during the rollout and implementation (Go-live) of ERP. The BAs will participate in post implementation activities and tasks that are developed jointly by HFS and the state-wide ERP project management team.

- The BAs will review workflows within the Bureau of Fiscal Operations (BFO), evaluate alignment with SAP processes and provide suggestions for improvements. The BAs will identify backlogs and bottle necks related to accounting functions and activities and recommend solutions prior to and after Go-live.

- The BAs will assess staffing needs based upon SAP systems impact on general operations and provide recommendations.

- The BAs will directly support Go-Live and Post Go-Live activities by triaging user issues to provide immediate assistance to production issues, providing continued training and education for HFS staff, evaluating performance in each SAP functional area, and providing work around solutions to issues encountered during Go-live or Post Go-live operations. The BAs will provide the first line of support for HFS during Go-live.

- The BAs will assist in the evaluation of the SAP system’s performance after Go-live including, but not limited to data integrity, responsiveness of system-speed, business, procedural, financial control, and legal and regulatory requirements.

- The BAs will attend regular team meetings as well as meetings with the state-team, the Program Manager (PM) and the systems integrator.

- The BAs will use advanced technical skills in Microsoft Excel, Access, Crystal, Web Intelligence (WEBI) and SQL software to develop queries and reports using HANA views from the following HFS information technology systems: Enterprise-wide Data Warehouse (EDW) ,the Illinois Office of the Comptroller Statewide Accounting Management System (SAMS) and the ERP/SAP accounting modules related to financial reporting, federal draws and federal claiming for the Bureau of Federal Finance (BFF) and the Bureau of Fiscal Operations (BFO

- The BAs will plan, develop and implement processes and procedures to effectively implement the fixed asset module of the ERP system and conversion from Warehouse Asset Management System (WAMS
