Job Description :
This international industry leader has an immediate 12+ month contract opportunity in Plano, TX for a Business Intelligence Project Manager strong in Tableau and SQL.
Will be working on an Acquisition Scorecard and EDM VMO Data Mart Build project.
Key responsibilities include:
Project manage key components of the project (Technology PM
Work across IT and BI teams to engage the right resources at the right time to ensure objectives/requirements are delivered on schedule.
Follow-up with each accountable IT area to ensure that deliverables remain on schedule.
Work with business to identify areas requiring decisions/clarity in order to define project scope and objectives/requirements.
Identify and assess risks due to changes in scope (business decisions/changes), resources, or timeline.
Work across IT to ensure that all components supporting the end-to-end objective/requirement have been assigned.
Align architecture diagrams and process flows to project plan to identify and remediate gaps.
Work with QA to develop testing strategy which has traceability to requirements.
Facilitate joint application designs sessions across IT teams.
Keep open communication with all team members involved.
This position requires:
5-10 years Project Management experience with large technology implementations.
Business Intelligence experience with a technical proficiency in Tableau and SQL.
Strong Communication skills and able to work with many types of people.
Technical acumen and ability to drive across multiple stakeholder organizations.
Experience modeling budget scenarios and status.
Ability to work at both detail and high level.
Ability to communicate to multiple audiences.
Ability to work across IT to ensure that all components supporting the end-to-end objective/requirement have been assigned.
