Job Description :
Responsible for administering, supporting, monitoring, tuning and patching the Power BI reporting environment. This involves the management and administration of all components of the Power BI domain, including a clustered Power BI on premise data gateway environment. Works closely with Power BI report users to tune and optimize Power BI reports and dashboards. Serves as Best Practices resource for Power BI initiatives in the organization. Conducts training and user-group sessions on Power BI. Participates in project planning and proof-of-concepts involving Power BI. Develops and oversees monitoring systems to measure usage and ensure operational stability. Participates in the on-call duty phone rotation and acts as the escalation point for Power BI-related issues.

Required skills/competencies:

3+ years of hands-on experience in Microsoft Power BI on premise and cloud, including clustered on premise data gateway.

Strong experience using Power BI with on premise and cloud data sources, including Oracle, SQL Server and Salesforce.

Strong experience in performance tuning of Power BI reports and SQL with large volume data sources.

Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS

Experience with Microsoft Windows Server administration.

Preferred Skills:

Tableau, SAS, Hyperion experience preferred.

Experience with Cruise/Travel industry preferred.

Preferred Education: Bachelor''s degree in computer science or equivalent.
