Required Skills:
Over 15 years of IT experience with a minimum of 4-6 years of hands-on experience as an Azure Cloud Solutions Architect and Automation Expert
· Experience in all aspects of Azure Cloud services (e.g. infrastructure, storage, platforms and data, etc
· In depth knowledge of
o Azure Automation
o Role Based Access Control (RBAC) configuration
o Azure Policy Management
o Management Groups
o Azure Blueprints
o Azure ARM Templates for resource automation
· Hands on development experience
o Azure CLI
o Azure PowerShell Scripting
o JSON Definitions for Azure Services
· Azure Traffic Manager (GTM, LTM), Azure Application Gateway (Application Firewall & Load Balancing)
· Azure DevOps & Pipeline Integration.
Duties:
1. Automate Client’s Azure services (IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS) provisioning processes.
2. Lead an initial assessment of the existing organization, processes, tools, and environments.
3. Develop Azure Policy and Azure Management configuration and apply them to all Subscriptions.
4. Advise OCIO through the build of a fully functioning end2end service automation prototype, including development of applicable documentation.
5. Develop Automation scripts, Azure ARM templates, and Blueprints specific to client’s provisioning processes.
6. Develop Role Based Access Control (RBAC) framework.
7. Work with OCIO ITSM tech lead to integrate the Automation processes.
8. Lead a retrospective review of the work stream efforts, including development of applicable documentation, training, and knowledge transfer efforts.
9. Help setup and establish Client’s Azure Governance for Center of Excellence.
