Technical/Functional Skills:
Facilitate collaboration sessions with customers to formulate creative and practical solutions to their challenges.
Interface and effectively communicate with both business and technical resources.
Lead the architecture and development strategy for mobile platforms.
Create highly sophisticated UI that takes into account mobile guidelines for Android, Apple and Windows.
Develop, coach, and mentor team members on standards and best practices for Agile mobile software delivery.
Passionate about mobile technologies and code the right way.
Expert level of coding experience in C# and XAML, Java, Objective-C or Swift.
Thorough understanding of multiple SDLC methodologies with an emphasis on Agile.
Experience integrating mobile applications with external APIs/web services.
2-4years’ experience delivering sophisticated, high-quality mobile solutions in a timely manner using Agile techniques.
Expertise working with GITHub & Jenkins.
Expertise working with continuous integration & development tools (XUnit testing, Xamarin Test Cloud, Calabash, Cucumber
Proven software development experience and Android skills development.
Proven working experience in Android app development and.
Have published at least one original Android app.
Experience with Android SDK.
Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON.
Experience with third-party libraries and APIs.
Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies.
Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
Roles and responsibility:
This requisition is for an "Onsite" position.
Take the lead of the frontend platform, in terms of development
- Support forward-looking features with designs for user interfaces, components, in-house and 3rd-party service integrations
- Participate in design and review meetings
- Analyze requirements taken from the Business Analyst
- Collaborate with the User Interface/User Experience team for wireframes interpretation to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform
- Co-ordinate with offshore team for deliverables and clarifications
- Ownership of project deliverables
- Ensure on time and defect free releases
- Must we willing to learn Xamarin technology
- Develop new components / modules as per requirements
- Should be able to handle continuous integration and automated build generation.
