Title: Accounting Business Analyst
Location: Salisbury, NC
Duration: 6 months +
Work Status: No OPT/CPT
We are seeking a Business Analyst with Finance & Accounting background. This person will be working on several projects.
Responsibilities:
Partner with the business to identify business needs, problems and opportunities
Identify solutions (process or systems) that meet the business needs
Analyze pros and cons of various alternatives; present options to executives
Document business case to justify the investment necessary to deliver the solution
Develop, maintain and review technology roadmaps (identification and prioritization of desired initiatives) with key stakeholders of assigned business function(s)
Skills Needed:
Ability to help the project manager on all phases of the project
Able to take instructions, execute and assist in the creation of the deliverables
Speak to the business, translate their discussions to as is and to be flows in Visio
Ability to adapt to changing projects
Understanding of project specific deliverables including: Organization charts, Resource plans, Requirements documents, Solutions document, Testing plans, Testing scripts, documentation and execution, Project plans
Ability to assist project manager''s and/or lead to complete the documents noted above and any others required by the project phases
Ability to assist in the gathering of requirements and documentation of the requirement
Ability to complete Visio of process flows for as is and current state
Ability to communicate in a way to gather the information needed to do the flows and documents in both current and future state
Required Skills:
Finance & Accounting experience
o Ex: ledger Transfers/Invoices, Depreciation, KPI measurements
A. Acct for owned equipment and facility – depreciation
B. Finished Goods – ledger transfers/Invoicing
C. KPI Measurements –
D. True up at the end of the period
4 + years of Business Analyst experience
