Role: Data Scientist
Location: New York City, NY (Midtown but moving to Soho)
Duration: Direct hire

Job description:
What they do: They have an AI product that identifies anomalies in data sets, specifically financial services data sets. They are based in Israel and are just now opening up shop in the U.S. The new hires in the U.S. will consult with their clients in the United States (many of which are in New York) and they would also travel to places like Mexico & Brazil to implement and integrate a custom version of their product. The candidates will also go to Israel for 2 weeks when they first get hired for training. So candidates need to be willing to travel internationally up to 25% of the time (1 week out of the month on average)
Work from home: Not typically, but around the time they travel they can.
Requirements:
3+ years of experience as a Data Scientist developing Machine Learning algorithms
3+ years of experience using Python and Python libraries to develop ML algorithms
Ability to travel internationally 25% of the time
Financial services industry experience
Nice to haves:
Experience developing algorithms for fraud detection – if they have this experience, salary can go up to 200K
