Certification in Cloud Technologies in AWS is required
Responsibilities:
Architect, design & development, of the AWS Infrastructure-as-a-Service environment
Conduct Proof of Concepts
Work with various technical groups from the Network, Server, Identity Management, Security, Database Administrators, and Application Development groups
Document and conduct knowledge transfer to internal staff
Build and maintain architecture diagrams, ensuring due diligence and a realistic implementation path
Provide best practices of designing, configuring, and maintaining Cloud environment
Mandatory AWS Skills
Experience in most of the following AWS technologies:
AWS Administration
Create VPCs, Subnets, NAT Gateway
Route53
Custom Groups, Roles, Policy. Fine grained access control.
Elastic Load Balancers, Application Load Balancers, Network Load Balancers (ELBs, ALBs, NLBs)
Setup of Direct Connect and or VPN Gateway
Create EC2 Instances, Domain Joining to Active Directory
Create RDS Database Instances
Experience with Cloudformation or Terraform
DevOps Automation (Either Ansible/Puppet/Chef)
Virtual Machine Hardening
AWS Redshift
Setup ADFS
Code Commit
Code Deploy

Project Description:
The AWS Architect works with AWS Cloud space on projects focused on "on-prem to Cloud” workload migrations, as well as Greenfield projects. The position should have experience in AWS technologies and should be capable of architecture and implementing cloud-based solutions.
Hands-on Architect/Admin Role (50% Design, 50% Administration & Development)
