Skill:
Nextgen Configuration Experience Desired
Clinical analysis and team leadership skills deploying enterprise-wide solutions.
Document concise requirements for the solution with the goal to reduce custom code to the extent possible while meeting the complex requirements.
Preferred - NCP Certification and 2+ years of Nextgen clinical analyst experience
R.N. or previous analyst experience in healthcare organizations, EHR (electronic health records) or other clinical health records system
Agile and waterfall development SDLC environments

Description:
A direct St. Paul, MN client seeks a consultant to serve as a Clinical Business Analyst on a NextGen implementation.

Deliverable''s and Activities:
Requirements and workflow process status reporting, including weekly status reports and associated communication documents as well as requirement reviews for various audiences.
Requirements elicitation, documentation, and management, including business requirements, technical requirements and outstanding business-related requirements such as policy and process development.
Development of use cases and other appropriate models specifying requirements.
Participation in integration testing, including input and review of test plans, defect remediation and vendor defect identification in cooperation with the Quality Analyst to ensure delivery of a defect free, highly usable end product.
Participation in risk management, including proactively scanning the environment and logging risks and issues, identifying triggers and risk responses, and escalating as appropriate.
Participation in planning and scheduling project timelines with the project manager and milestones using appropriate tools and tracking such milestones and deliverables.
Participation in impact analyses for submitted change requests.
Participation in deliverable acceptance and team meetings to review defects, deliverables and progress towards implementation.
Work collaboratively with and through others internal and external to the project team.
Work in cooperation with a vendor, developing recommendations for work most appropriate to each team.
Other duties as assigned.

Mandatory Qualifications
B.S. or B.A. degree (4 year degree) or equivalent experience in similar role
Strong clinical analysis and team leadership skills deploying enterprise-wide solutions.
Ability to document concise requirements for the solution with the goal to reduce custom code to the extent possible while meeting the complex requirements.
Expertise in MS Office and Microsoft Visio
Proven ability to work collaboratively with and through others internal and external to the project team.

Desired Skills
NCP Certification and 2+ years of Nextgen clinical analyst experience
R.N. or previous analyst experience in healthcare organizations, EHR (electronic health records) or other clinical health records system
