General Ledger
Commitment Control

This is for an immediate for an existing client.
Role will be to evaluate Client’s current business practice, design, build, test and implement new requested budget checking, life-to-date budgeting and reporting fund and process to remove individual budget attributes in PS Financials 9.2.
In addition to providing knowledge transfer and working collaboratively with client and teams. Reports to Client Project Manager.

High level and demonstrated implementation experience with PeopleSoft 9.2 Finance modules especially General Ledger/ Commitment Control.

Has at least two demonstrable full life-cycle implementations of General Ledger/ Commitment Control with budgeting checking experience.

Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to lead a group of integrator and client staff through trouble shooting sessions and Business Process Redesign sessions, with the ability to articulate the ultimate ERP design pertinent to the General Ledger/Commitment Control portions of the project.

Comfortable leading and facilitating meetings; comfortable and well-versed with client interaction.

Ability to take on a collaborative and solutions-oriented approach with the client and other team members as needed.

High level and demonstrated implementation experience with General Ledger/ Commitment.

Extensive experience in FSCM configurations, conversions, and integrations.

Must possess good writing skills, able to develop functional specifications, client presentation materials using power point, flowcharts and mastery of at least Microsoft Office software
Ability to estimate project timelines pertaining to the implementation of General Ledger and Commitment Control.

Experience with Higher-Ed.

Job Responsibilities:
Perform tasks to complete proposed budget checking, life-to-date budgeting and reporting fund and process to remove individual budget attributes.

Provides PeopleSoft functional expertise and leadership in responsible areas; ability to develop a partner relationship and provide knowledge transfer.

Ability to advise, research and analyze financial management issues.

Ability to work 100% onsite and remotely when appropriate given certain tasks.

Ability to quickly establish Client credibility and relationships with client.

Submits reports on project status, progress and issues in a timely manner to Client Project Manager.

Provides guidance to project team in area of best practice regarding areas of responsibility.

Experience with FSCM modules in addition to those specified and their associated related integrations.

Experience with additional industry sectors such and Healthcare and/or Higher Education.
