Location : Columbia,MO (Fully Remote Need someone to Come F2F in Columbia,MO)
Use Java Related Technologies –to support/enhance application
When needed provide 24 X 7 production support for Legacy applications
Recommend/implement enhancements that result in increased quality and service, and ensure optimal performance of the environment
Use Java and Javascript to support the existing Yield Management app
Understand C/Pro C to assist with supporting existing Odyssey batch programs
Qualifications:
Required:
Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
5+ years of experience working with large datasets and complex data environments, processes, and associated solutions.
3+ years of experience developing software applications using Java or other object-oriented programming languages.
Extensive experience writing and tuning complex SQLs, and the ability to analyze and make recommendations on results.
Must have good oral and written communication skills to effectively communicate with various IT teams and business representatives.
Must have good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced, collaborative, team-oriented environment.
Must be committed to incorporating security into all decisions and daily job responsibilities.
Must have experience in full lifecycle development and end-to-end testing.
Preferred:
Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field preferred
Knowledge and working experience with Agile methodologies
Experience with Hadoop and Big Data technologies (Kinesis, Storm, Hive, Spark, etc
Experience with AWS, or other Public Cloud Environments
Experience with Oracle Application Server
Experience with HBase or other No SQL DBMSs
Experience with Revenue Management concepts and business discipline
Experience with Spring
Experience with Git/Jenkins for configuration management and software build/deployments
