Job Description :
Position Title: Purchasing Administrative Support Specialist

Responsibilities for this position will include the following:

* Clean up and processing of Engineering Releases
* Follow up and completion of Product Change Requests
* Issuing and managing Request for Quotes
* General data collection for reporting

Position Requirements:

* Manager would like to see candidates with at least a completed Associates Degree and at least a year of relevant working experience. He did say though that if a candidate has worked in a similar capacity for a number of years and only has a HSD, he can review and consider those profiles too.

* Manager would like to see candidates with experience using purchasing systems such as Ariba and Oracle.

* Candidates must be proficient with MS Office Excel and PowerPoint.

* Candidates must be comfortable with being able to multi-task as they will be given a lot of work to complete and may be asked to move from one thing to another based on the importance of that task.

Additional information from the manager:

* Direct from the manager:
o This is more than just an admin role they will be supporting administrative functions within the purchasing team. Things like engineering releases, etc.
o Person needs to be self-motivated to manage large tasks and large amounts of data. This is a high volume team working within a fast-paced environment.

* This is a Monday Friday, 40 hour per week need for this team. Manager is flexible on the start/end time people in his group start between 7:00/8:00 AM. Overtime may be needed on occasion.

* When the manager is ready to interview, depending on his thoughts on a candidate''s resume he may first phone screen or he may just ask for them to come in for an on-site interview. That detail will be provided in the interview requests when they are made.
